We attended Registration yesterday….as well as the New Student Orientation for 7th and 8th graders. Overall, we had fun because it’s always exciting to get the new schedule, locate the new locker, etc. Continue reading

It seems as though he was in fact a casualty of the school’s growth and its decision to hire members of the Santa Ana police department to patrol the campus and provide security services. Apparently as OCHSA grows, celebrates its 25-year anniversary and continues to evolve as a “premier school of the arts” there has been some mention about having the school’s name actually reflect the true state of the school, which means recognizing that in fact, it’s not just a high school. Orange County High School of the Arts serves student in grades 7 through 12 meaning that it encompasses a fully fledged middle school in addition to a high school. So if the “H” in OCHSA stands for “high” and you remove that, you get OCSA, short for Orange County School of the Arts. Continue reading
