Classical & Contemporary Dance

Orange County High School of the Arts7th – 12th Grade: The Classical and Contemporary Dance Conservatory offers intensive training in ballet, modern, pointe/men’s class, variations, composition and choreography.  The highly qualified staff, with extensive professional experience in the dance world, gives the students the technical skills, discipline, commitment and edge necessary for a professional career in dance or dance-related fields.

By spending 12-15 hours per week in technique classes, and more than eight hours per week in rehearsal, students develop an appreciation of different dance genres, styles and history.  Through the Artists in Residence program, students have the opportunity to participate in master classes with local and world-renowned choreographers who create original works for the students to perform throughout the year.

I am OCSAmama

I'm a mom, a writer, and apparently a blogger with two children who attend Orange County School of the Arts. I crave good information and LOVE to ask questions. But now I have all this stuff in my head. Oh well, it's okay because I love to chat and share. Go ahead and pick my brain.
